Have you been to MFB and seen people having birthday cake, snacks, and generally having a good time? Well, here's how you too can have your next birthday, celebration, or office party at MFB!
Birthday Fun Fact
Did you know that the tradition of birthday candles originated in Ancient Greece? They believed that the smoke from the candles carried prayers to the gods. At MFB, we believe the smoke carries your wishes to the fandom universe!In general, any Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, you're welcome to show up with some food, invite your friends, and enjoy the ambiance. Feel free to check our event calendar – if you're going to have a lot of people, you might want to avoid particularly loud nights like our Rave Nights. Otherwise, show up, let a bartender know you're going to put out food for some of your guests, and prepare for a super fun night! That's right, MFB doesn't mind if you bring your own food, just please don't bring your own drinks – we have a fully stocked bar to quench your thirst!
Now, what if you want something even bigger? If you want to rent the gallery or even the entire bar, reach out to us and we can arrange it! We can provide bartenders, event support if you want a special theme, and even catering through our partnership with The Meat Wagon, a gourmet quality food truck and restaurant or bring your own food or food truck!
Cosplay or Not, Let's Fandom
At MFB, we welcome all fans, whether you're in full cosplay or just rocking a subtle fandom t-shirt. Our motto is "Cosplay or Not, Let's Fandom!" So come as you are and celebrate with us!What if you want a special theme the night of your occasion but don't want to rent the bar for exclusive use? Generally, our event calendar is planned 30 days out, but if you reach out with a cool fandom-related theme with enough advance notice that doesn't compete with another event, you could inspire a new themed event night! Don't feel bad if your idea doesn't get picked – there are only so many Fridays and Saturdays in a month, but we do our best to accommodate!
Once you're here celebrating with your friends, if you really want your friend to feel extra special, let the bartender know you want the entire bar to sing "Happy Birthday." The bartender will grab a mic and lead the whole bar in serenading the birthday girl or boy!
